So I made dinner tonight - stew. Yeah, I know it was 104 today... not exactly stew weather, but evidently stew meat was on sale and Randy wanted it, so I made it - per his directions since he usually makes it. His way takes forever but is totally worth it. So I started around 3 and spent all this time browning meat, chopping veggies and stirring, stirring, stirring and looking forward to the yumminess.
But then he decided to thicken it up and I mentioned I hadn't seasoned it yet. So he did. With Italian seasoning. This is not a usual addition. And it's one that I do not consider yumminess in stew. My beautiful stew. I was not happy, and he was rather amused with that fact.
Oh well. You win some, you lose some.
